Solar Power Plant

Solar power generating system, converts solar energy into electrical energy as solar panels collect energy from the sun and convert it into DC power then DC power from the solar panels is sent to a solar inverter, where it is converted into AC power for use that AC power travels from the solar inverter to your electrical breaker box and provide electricity to your appliances.

Advantages of solar energy

  • Reliable Source of Power Supply- Solar Energy is a reliable source of power supply. As the Sun rises you get power from Solar Modules and generate your own power.
  • Cost - Generating and utilizing your own solar power will minimize your electricity bill and will continue to save cost up to 25 years without being influenced by price fluctuations and other factors.
  • For Power Back Up- Solar Power Plant is the best option for Rural area where Power cuts happens and you need to requires power back to run your load.
  • Pollution- Solar power is a Pollution free green Energy and Noiseless operation.
  • Efficiency- When using a diesel generator, the device would go on and on, not considering the amount of power consumed. This can be avoided in case of Solar Power Plant.
  • Govt. Norms- The Ministry of Renewable Energy has done Solar Power Plant mandatory at every School, College, Hospitals, Malls, Hotels, and Society etc to meet the peak energy demand.
  • Return on Investment- If you calculate the cost of Electricity generated by Solar Power Plant in 25 years, it will be many times more than the project cost today.
  • Short Pay Back- Solar power plant give it cost back in the short Period of 3 to 5 years.
  • Life- Long life span of PV Modules up to 25 years.
  • No moving parts, Is totally silent in operation
  • Less monitoring
  • Cost effective maintenance
  • Quicker installation with less cable required
  • Requires less space in most cases as the panels can be installed on a roof
  • Return on investment is maximum 5 years and anything produced by the project after that it is pure profits

There are two type of solar power plant

  • on-grid or gird-tied solar power plant
  • off-grid or stand alone solar power plant

On-grid or gird-tied solar power system

When your solar energy system produces more power than you need, the meter literally spins backwards as that power is sent to the grid for others to use. Your next utility bill is credited for the power you have added to the grid.

Off-grid or standalone solar power plant

Off-the-grid is a system designed which is used by people to function without the support remote infrastructure, such as an electrical grid. In electricity, off-grid can be stand-alone power system or mini-grids, it generates electricity by solar and store in the batteries instead of supplying back to grid. The stored electricity is used after the sun has set hence, making you completely independent from the grid and giving free eco-friendly electricity.
